eduID
In order to access IT services of the University of Debrecen everyone needs an eduID. This is a universal username which can be used not only at this University, but on the global research network as well.
Students can get their eduID through a self registration process using their neptun identifier. This is the first and most important step on entering the University.

Student Administration System (SAS)
It is an internal administrative database, used by the University of Debrecen only. Students use SAS for online registration at the beginning of each
semester (updating contact data and uploading new documents). The online health insurance card (if any) can also be seen/downloaded from here. Students can log in by using their eduID and password.
UniPass card
The UniPass card serves as an ID card on the University campuses and enables access to a number of services provided by the University and third parties. Several shops and service providers offer discounts to card holders throughout Debrecen.
Eduroam wifi
Eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Having started in Europe, eduroam has gained momentum throughout the research and education community and is now available in over 100 territories. Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop
You can use your eduID to connect to the worldwide eduroam wifi network. In order to log in you must specify your eduID with a @unideb.hu suffix which binds you to the University of Debrecen (i.e. if your eduID is john.doe then you will log in as john.doe@unideb.hu (which looks like an email address, but it is not)).
Office 365
Students and staff members of the University are entitled to use services of the Office 365 cloud. The entry point is login.microsoftonline.com and you have to specify your eduID with the suffix @mailbox.unideb.hu to log in. If your eduID is john.doe then your Office 365 login name will be john.doe@mailbox.unideb.hu. The latter is also a valid email address in the Office 365 cloud. This is how we provide an official University email address for our students. Microsoft login redirects to the University's identity provider where you can identify yourself with your plain eduID as usual, without any suffix.
Office 365 access is granted until your studies are finished. After that your membership will end. Please note that it's your sole responsibility to save your data from the Office 365 cloud before your access is revoked.
